I’m Courtnei Dunn LaGarde,

Professional Makeup Artist, Licensed Esthetician and owner of Blush Makeup Bar.

My journey in the beauty industry began in 2015 at MAC Cosmetics, where I started as a freelance artist and eventually stepped into the role of assistant manager. Over five years, I sharpened my skills, learned from industry greats, and built the foundation for the artist I’ve become today.

I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising & Retail Studies and Business Management. That education gave me the blueprint to merge artistry with entrepreneurship—a combination that’s at the heart of everything I do.

During the pandemic, I expanded my expertise by attending Paul Mitchell The School Dallas, where I studied esthetics. From skincare to beauty branding, I believe in creating experiences that make women feel seen, celebrated, and confident in their own skin.

I am a believer of Jesus Christ, a wife, mother of 2 under 2 and a dog mom. I strive to give busy women the opportunity to find the beauty within themselves even though we are tackling a million tasks day in and out.

Blush Makeup Bar isn’t just a beauty brand—it’s a reflection of my passion, my purpose, and the women I’m honored to serve every day.

    When entering Hwy 33, proceed through all three red lights. We are located in the Ruston Commons Center on the left-hand side. Drive to the end of suites and we are located to the left of Rhodes Realty.

  • Our calendar opens on the 15th of every month.

    We recommend booking at least 4-6 months in advance for special events such as bridal.

  • We give a 10 minute grace period. After that time, the appointment will result in a cancellation.

    Rescheduling—

    • Reschedule at least. 24 hours in advance

    Cancellations—

    • Cancel at least 24 hours in advance

    • Confirm your appointment through your automated reminder text. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation.

  • Yes. We travel for bridal parties and collaborations if contract requirements are met.

    All other services will be rendered at our makeup studio in Ruston, La.

  • Early bird, after hours, and non-business day appointments are available by request only and are subject to artist availability. When approved, an additional convenience fee will apply.
